Overview

This is an in-depth course that explores installation, configuration and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL 6) systems. The course focuses on issues universal to every workstation and server. The course provides extensive hands-on experience. This course will also help students prepare for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certifications.

Prerequisites

Participants should have at least 2 years of experience performing computer management tasks, including working at the command line, on a modern operating system such as Windows XP, Windows 7, or Mac OS X. Understanding of basic TCP/IP networking concepts is required. Some familiarity with Unix or Linux is recommended.
