Overview

This is an in-depth course that explores installation, configuration and maintenance of Enterprise Linux systems. The course provides extensive hands-on experience. This course will also help students prepare for Linux System Administrator Certification

The course begins with a 1 day rapid refresher on Linux shell, command line, file system and text editing essentials. The remaining 4 days of the course cover the core system administration tasks as specified in the published industry exam objectives.

Prerequisites

Prior to taking this class, students should already have a working knowledge of Linux and be comfortable working at the Linux command line. Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking is also necessary.
