Guidelines
for Riders
- For your safety, please remain seated while the bus is in motion.
- Please display and/or swipe a valid Transit-approved ID to board
the vehicle.
- Please refrain from smoking, eating, drinking or littering
on the vehicle.
- For your safety and that of other riders, please do not block
the door or the aisle.
- UMBC is not responsible for lost or damaged articles. Lost
articles will be held in the UMBC Transit Office.
- Inappropriate behavior on the buses is prohibited. Inappropriate
behavior is defined as anything which distracts the driver. The
driver has authority to eject from the bus, or refer to the University Police, any passenger who persists
in such behavior.
- Except in the case of an emergency, use of emergency exits
and equipment is prohibited.
- The driver is the final authority on the vehicle.
