1. Minutes for 3/12/09 were approved.

2. Other Business

Dr. Viancour informed the UGC of several items that will be coming to the UGC. The first item was DANC 110 and how it is counted as credit for graduation. The second item is with ROTC courses. Students at UMBC who want to be involved with ROTC take the credits at Johns Hopkins and College Park. UMBC has an existing policy but at this time it can not be located. Dr. Viancour informed the UGC that the Provost and the Faculty Senate wants the UGC to review the transfer credits for ROTC to see if students should receive credit. The Office of Undergraduate Education will transmit the courses for the UGC to review.
