3. Tabled Postings:

• FYE 101: Introduction to an Honors University (New Course) - The UGC tabled FYE 101 and TRS 301. The UGC had several questions regarding both courses. Some of the questions concerned the fact that the TRS course would be upper-level credit; another concern had to do with the precedent of creating courses for which there is no departmental oversight. The UGC will invite Jill Randles to the meeting schedule for December 3.

  TRS 301: Transfer Student Success Seminar (New Course)
• KORE 301: Advanced Korean I (New) The UGC tabled KORE 301, KORE 302 and KORE 309. The committee is requesting a detailed syllabus that tells what chapters from the text book, or what articles or books, students are reading each week.
