Peer Health Educators

The Peer Health Educators are UMBC undergraduate students who are highly trained in various health related topics, especially those that are pertinent to college students at UMBC. They can provide your class, residence hall, organization, etc. with a variety of health education programs.

To request a program, please fill out our Spring 2017 Peer Health Program Request Form. You may also call 410-455-1558, email uhs@umbc.edu or stop by our Office of Health Education to speak with a staff member. Programs must be requested at least two weeks in advance of program date.

The Peer Health Educators can earn an applied learning notation on their transcript through the zero-credit PRAC Internship. If you are interested in applying for the Peer Health Education Program, please contact us at 410-455-3752 or uhs@umbc.edu.
