STUDENT WORKERS make a significant contribution at UHS. At the
Front Desk, students schedule appointments, register patients and
handle billing. In Health Education, they perform clerical functions
as well as coordinate certain grant-funded programs. Student Clinical
Assistants, primarily from the UMBC Emergency Health Services academic
program, take vital signs from patients and assist our health care
providers in treating patients. All Student Clinical Assistants
are certified Emergency Medical Technicians. |
