  • August
    • Book discussion held
    • Nominations open for next fall's book
    • Student-faculty selection committee assembled
    • Nominations accepted via e-mail, verbal requests, paper nomination form, and online form
  • September
    • New Book Selection Committee meets
      • Review criteria and goals of Book Discussion
      • Determine meeting schedule
    • Nominations accepted via e-mail, verbal requests, paper nomination form, and online form
  • October
    • Nominations close- October 31
  • November
    • Nominations shared with Committee members
      • Top 10-15 books selected
  • December
    • Top nominations discussed individually
    • Top three choices ranked and the final selection is made in consultation with Dean Diane Lee and the President's Office.
