Jarrett Kealey joined University of Maryland, Baltimore County in January 2011. He is charged with developing transfer-year experiences, building relationships with Maryland community college partners, and engaging in cross-campus efforts to ensure the success of UMBC's new students. His current efforts are focused on expanding Transfer Student Seminar courses, working with transfer students in academic difficulty, collaborating with community college partners to build a pre-transfer advising program, and overseeing the creation of online content to assist students transitioning into UMBC.

Prior to UMBC, Jarrett worked at Utica College where he coordinated freshman, transfer, and graduate student orientations, advised undeclared students, and had responsibilities for first–year experience programming. He has presented sessions at the ACPA Annual Convention, Ohio College Personnel Association Annual Conference, National Orientation Directors Conference, and National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students Annual Conference.

Jarrett holds a B.A. in History from Marymount University, a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Ohio University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
