The online application requires that you pay the non-refundable $50 application fee by credit card or online checking. If you are a National Merit Scholar, National Achievement Scholar, Maryland Distinguished Scholar or a National Hispanic Scholar, UMBC will waive your application fee. To be eligible for this waiver, submit a copy of your award letter to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation.
