If you are an undergraduate degree-seeking student, you may apply online now. The online application requires that you pay the $50 application fee by credit card or online checking.

If you are a National Merit Scholar, National Achievement Scholar, Maryland Distinguished Scholar or a National Hispanic Scholar, UMBC will waive your application fee. To be eligible for this waiver, submit a copy of your award letter to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

If you do not wish to apply online, the following forms can be printed and mailed to UMBC. Please enclose a check or money order if required. To view and print the applications, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

Undergraduate Admissions Application
This application should be completed by freshmen or transfer degree-seeking applicants. It may also be used for early enrollment options by advanced high school students.

Honors College Application
The UMBC Honors College is a special option for students seeking a community of like-minded people for whom the quest for knowledge is its own reward. This application should be submitted in addition to the undergraduate admissions application.

Shady Grove Application
Transfer students who wish to earn a bachelor's degree in political science, psychology or social work from UMBC at the Shady Grove Center in Rockville, MD should complete this application.

Readmit/Reinstate Application
Please use this form only if you have previously been enrolled as an undergraduate student at UMBC.

Non-Degree/Special Sessions Application
This form should be completed only by visiting students or non-degree seeking applicants who wish to enroll in undergraduate courses. If you have previously attended or are currently attending UMBC, please use the Readmit/Reinstate Application.
