UMBC Mini-Baja, Mechanical Engineering

The SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) sponsored Baja SAE (formerly Mini Baja) project is an international collegiate design competition challenging student teams to design, construct, and test a single passenger off-road vehicle. The competition introduces students to a real world engineering environment. To be successful, students must apply classroom theories and concepts while utilizing the necessary social skills required to succeed in a team environment.
