Visiting UMBC

If you really want to know what awaits you at UMBC, nothing will prepare you better than a campus visit. UMBC offers a number of ways for prospective students to connect with UMBC faculty, students and admissions counselors. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Registration is required for all events. Prior to the visit, registered guests will receive an email with directions to campus and parking information.

Just for Juniors (and Sophomores too!)

Want to get an in-depth look at what it means to be a Retriever? High school juniors and sophomores have an opportunity each spring to get a jump on college planning. UMBC students provide walking tours and campus representatives are on hand to answer questions on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Our Just for Juniors program enables prospective students and their families to learn about admission, financial aid and scholarships, residential life, the Honors College, student activities and more.

Register online for Just for Juniors.

Campus Tours and Information Sessions

Only have a couple of hours to check out the campus? Tours and information sessions are offered most weekdays and many Saturdays. Along with the student-led walking tour, an information session conducted by an admissions counselor will give you details about admissions requirements, scholarships, academic programs and more.

For prospective transfer students, Transfer Information Sessions are offered on select Tuesday and Fridays. Optional campus tours are available prior to the session.

Register online to find a Campus Tour and Information Session that best fits your schedule.
