High School Guidance Counselors and Teachers

Symposiums
UMBC hosts an annual Symposium for Faculty and Administrators - a professional development opportunity for high school counselors, teachers and administrators. This year's program is on Monday, October 15, 2007. You will learn about the many opportunities available for your students including world class academic programs, research, internships, study abroad, the Honors College and the Scholars Programs at UMBC—Center for Women and Information Technology, Humanities, Linehan Artist, Meyerhoff and Sondheim Public Affairs. You will also discover why our graduates are in such demand by graduate and professional schools such as Harvard, Yale, MIT and Penn, as well as corporate giants including AT& T, IBM and Silicon Graphics.
