Determining How Light Intensity Varies With Distance From the Source

The purpose of this experiment was to determine a mathematical relationship between light intensity and distance from the light source.  It was shown that the intensity of a light source varies with the distance from the source.  A light sensor and a LabPro were used to measure the light intensity.  This experiment determined how intensity of light and distance from the source relate to each other.
