Corris Davis
Director
Mrs. Corris Davis has been working for the UMBC Upward Bound program since 1999. She holds her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from UMBC and her Master’s in Information Technology from UMUC.

Kerra Trusty
Senior Counselor
Ms. Kerra Trusty has been working for the UMBC Upward Bound program since 2006. Prior to working with the UMBC program, she worked for Morgan’s Upward Bound program as a liason. She holds her Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from Morgan State University and her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Janelle Price
Academic Coordinator
Ms. Janelle Price has been working for the UMBC Upward Bound program since 2003. She holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Information Systems and Sociology from UMBC and is working on her Master’s in Information Technology Project Mgmt at UMUC.

Richard Moore II
Academic Counselor
Mr. Richard Moore has been working for the UMBC Upward Bound program since 2008. Prior to working with the UMBC program, he worked for our sister program, CCBC Catonsville’s Education Talent Search. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Towson University.

Curtis Durham
Academic Advisor
Mr. Curtis Durham has been a part-time Upward Bound employee since 2003. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from Lincoln University and a Master’s in Secondary Education from UMBC. He is currently working on his Ph.D in Education Administration at Morgan State University. Curtis is an alumni of the NJIT Upward Bound program.

Shane McCormick
Office Coordinator
Mr. Shane McCormick has worked for UMBC Upward Bound since 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science from UMBC and is currently working on his Master’s in Public Policy at UMBC.
