Eating Disorder Screening Day

Thursday, March 1st, 10:00 – 2:00 PM, Counseling Center

An opportunity for students who are concerned about their eating habits and body image to talk to a professional counselor. The counseling center will be providing short walk-in meetings that will help students to better understand any possible risk associated with their behaviors and to learn about campus and local resources, no appointments necessary. *Disordered Eating: How to Help a Friend

Friday, March 2nd, 1:00 – 1:50 PM, Women’s Center

Discuss Signs of disordered eating behaviors, factors contributing to it, and tips for helping friends who seem obsessed with food and their weight. Dr. Keum Choi, Psychologist with the Counseling Center and Laura Rubinstein, Health Educator, University Health Services will facilitate the discussion.
