Helping A Friend With An Eating Disorder

This program is designed to help people recognize the signs of an eating disorder. Also, the event will inform people how to help a friend who seems to have an eating disorder. This program will be facilitated by Dr. Keum Choi, Psychologist with the counseling Center, and Laura Rubinstein, a health educator, from the University Health Services. 

In addition to guest speakers, there will be pictures of media images displayed on the walls in the Women's Center. Stop by the Women's Center anytime throughout the day to critique the images portrayed in the media. You can become active by writing letters to the certain ad companies which display disturbing images of women to advertise. What type of messages are these distorted images of women sending?
