7:00pm in the Women's Center

"Jane: An Abortion Service" is a 58-minute film which every woman should see. This phenomenal segment of women's history has been left hidden. This independent film tells us the story of a Chicago-based women's health group who performed nearly 12,000 safe illegal abortions between 1969 and 1973 with no formal medical training. Come watch this short film and see how the repression of the early sixties and social movements of the late sixties influenced this inspiring group of women. Following the video, representatives from the UMBC Choice USA chapter will facilitate a discussion and answer questions regarding the video or reproductive rights.
