CHAT  HELP

This is a place where everyone can interact with other visitors of the website.  At times, there will be scheduled chats specifically for certain topics, such as WHM events or women's issues.  Everyone is always welcome to join.  Netiquette and respect are the only things required.

To join the chat room, you must first register.  The form will ask for your name, a screenname of your choice and your password.  Beseen will also be asking other questions that would be completely optional.

After registration, the program will automatically let you in the room under your chosen handle.  If this does not work, simply go back to the chat home page and log in.

When you have entered the chat room, simply type what you're going to say on the empty space at the bottom frame of your browser.  Press enter or click on the Say It! button to post your line on the chat room.

For additional settings, scroll down the bottom frame.  Click on the Settings button.  This area will help you customize your handle:

You may link your handle to your webpage by typing the URL (with http://) on the first empty space provided.

You may set the color of your lines by entering the hexidecimal code of the color of your choice.  (Some code examples are provided.  For more codes, see this page.)

You may add a picture to be associated with your screenname.  Make sure that the picture is stored on your server.  Any unauthorized use of images from others is not allowed.

On the left frame, you may press the Reload button to update the list of individuals in the room.  There is also a dropdown menu that would enable you to browse through different sites under the particular subject.
