Incoming UMBC Students (Spring 2010)
No additional application is needed - an email or letter of intent is required by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for new students interested in taking winter courses. Please be sure to include your full name and date of birth so we can match the request with your record. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions can be reached at admissions@umbc.edu, via fax at 410-455-1094, or mail to UMBC, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD, 21250.
Once you receive notification of winter registration access, you will be able to register online. Academic advising is highly recommended. Contact the Office for Academic and Pre-Professional Advising at 410-455-2729.
Visiting Students
Yes – but if you are in good standing at your home institution, transcripts are not required. Apply for winter admission and once you’re admitted, you can register online. But before you do, be sure to check with your home institution to verify that credits earned at UMBC are transferable.
