You will need a UMBC parking permit to park on campus during summer session. A valid UMBC permit must be displayed on all vehicles parked in non-metered lots or on roadways until 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and until 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Parking permits can only be issued to registered students.
Current UMBC students: Display your 2012/2013 parking permit
New and/or Visiting UMBC students: Obtain a parking permit one business day after you have registered for classes. The permit cost is included in your special session fees. Vehicles must be registered online. Permits can either be picked up in person or ordered online and mailed.
Please note: Parking permits should be secured several weeks in advance, as they will not be processed during winter break (December 21 through January 2).
UMBC is located on a scenic suburban campus just 15 minutes from the sights and sounds of downtown Baltimore and 45 minutes from Washington, D.C.
View the UMBC campus map for a look at the layout of the campus. Near all entrances are directional signs indicating the location of each building. All buildings are identified by freestanding signs and lettering on the building.
