Tuition

Visit the Student Business Services website for tuition and fees.  Some courses may have additional fees, which are noted in the online Schedule of Classes course information.

Schedule Adjustment Period

During the four-day Schedule Adjustment Period you may drop a course and replace it with another course, for the same number of credits, with no financial penalty.

Refund Schedule

Tuition and auxiliary fees are fully refunded through the first day of winter session (January 3). After January 3, refunds are pro-rated based on the date the course was dropped. Visit the Student Business Services website for additional information.

Billing Schedule/Pay Your Bill

Winter billing due dates are determined by when you register for your winter session course(s). View the billing schedule to determine when payment is due.  NOTE: please be aware of the Late Payment Fee policy.

Billing is managed electronically.  Access e-billing through myUMBC under the "Billing & Personal Finances" topic.  Select "Payments & Billing".

Housing

Potomac Hall, several floors in Harbor Hall, and the apartments (including Walker Avenue) remain open in January.

On campus housing is available for students enrolled in winter session courses. Students are encouraged to apply for housing online through Residential Life.

Residential Life’s main office is located in Erickson Hall near the library at the bottom of Walker Avenue. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM to serve you.
