This year’s award recipient will be honored in the Spring of 2008 and will also receive a plaque and $500 to be used for educational purposes.

Nominations are open to all UMBC students, staff, and faculty who:

• Provide exceptional service to the University and/or wider community
• Work to promote understanding among people of different groups, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Advocate for the elimination of gender inequality
