The Institute of Notre Dame, an all girls private Catholic high school, seeks an experienced Student Help Desk Coordinator to manage its new help desk. The coordinator will serve the students in IND’s one-to-one student tablet PC program that is being phased into the curriculum, beginning with freshmen in fall 2009. This position is part time. Excellent communications skills both oral and written, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are required.

Required skills and knowledge:

• Windows Vista Pro Tablet Edition
• MS Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, OneNote)
• Wireless networking configuration of client machines
• Networked printers
• A+ Certification preferred
• Basic understanding of Windows2003 server user accounts, file sharing
• Ability to train students in solid fundamentals of computer use, maintenance, backups
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Minimum one year experience
• Experience working with young adults preferred
