BDP is cooking up a fabulous mix of works this season, highlighting the creativity of award-winning artistic directors Doug Hamby and Carol Hess, "two of the most exciting choreographers in Maryland" Come see the stunning dancing of Sandra lacy, plus choreography and performances by acclaimed guest artists Adrienne Clancy, Hallie Dalsimer, James Hansen, and Eran David P. FEATURED WORKS:

Double Play - Carol Hess' new duet for a man and a woman to music by vibrant "breakcore" composer Venetian Snares. Veering away from conventional partnering, the dancers pursue a relationship of "equals" through contrapuntal structures, spatial orientations and supports

Past/Forward - Doug Hamby's new group work bringing the modern dance of 2012 together with the modern dance of the past. Live dancers perform with archival silent dance films of the 1950's to a new score by Ferdinand Maisel.

memories of walking on the moon- Hallie Dalsimer's solo borne of the vulnerability that comes with taking responsibility for oneself.

Lovely (excerpts)- James Hansen's humorous trio featuring text from the classic television show The Newlywed Game performed at Jacob's pillow in 2011

Drift - a new duet performed and choreographed by Adrienne Clancy and Sandra Lacy to music by Michael Wall
