Elders as Peacemakers
A global village needs global elders to help bring peace into places where there is strife.

Thanks for highlighting this. I encourage people to visit "The Elders" website and learn more.
It is a most interesting and hope-generating modern version of a common practice from our collective human past. I am heartened by the concept and the committment of so many of our respected and dedicated world elders to participate in this project.
Imagine the possibilities if such elders groups could be created and supported on national and local levels in the US and around the world.
