This from a recent UMBC Alum and Media Studies Certificate student:
I'm just finishing up an internship with the Human Rights Campaign and they are searching for a new intern. I was hoping you could pass along this opportunity to those you think might be interested. I've spent the last six months here and it's a great place to work. They have a fully outfitted production studio. You learn multiple aspects of production and post-production (learn to use Avid Adrenaline!) with a lot of hands-on experience, all while contributing to a great non-profit group. Charlie Nordstrom, the Media Center coordinator, has been a good teacher and a lot of fun to work with. Below is a link for more information about the internship and how to apply. Generally they target undergraduates, but also take recent grads.
