SA has made it possible to reflect anticipated financial aid on
student accounts and to consider anticipated aid before posting late
payment fees. In the past, we could not avoid posting late payment
fees, although often we knew there was aid that had been processed and in
many cases, the aid was sufficient to cover the entire balance owed.
Students with anticipated aid (covering their balance) do not see late
payment fees on their accounts, eliminating the need to request waivers
and manual adjustments. As a consequence this feature will reduce student confusion as well as reduce inquiries to the office of Student Business Services
