In the News: Roy Meyers, Don Norris, John Rennie Short
Roy Meyers (Political Science) told the International Business Times that a long-term deal for the U.S. budget is unlikely when Congress takes up the issue in January.
The Baltimore Sun quoted Donald F. Norris in a story about how advocates are lining up to defend the state's stormwater fee and corporate tax rate as public goods. His comments also appeared in a story about Governor O'Malley's proposal to raise the minimum wage in Maryland.
John Rennie Short talked to Radio New Zealand about his idea to hold the Summer Olympics at a permanent site, rather than changing the location every four years.
