An undergraduate research assistant position is available in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biochemistry or Biology majors preferred. The student will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week starting June 2007 and the appointment may last up to a year. The position entails assisting graduate students with general laboratory activities. This is a paid position to gain experience and knowledge in analytical measurements and research methods for the remediation of persistent organic pollutants in environmental media.
