Ricky Myers Day of Service

Who: UMBC is joining Civic Works in hopes to gather 300 volunteers for Ricky Myers Day of Service.

Where: Clifton Park in the City

What: Rehabbing homes for families in need, improving community schools, transforming vacant lots into community gardens, sprucing up Baltimore City Parks, and more!

Why: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” Ghandi. The Ricky Myers Day of Service honors the life of Ricky Myers, a staff member of Civic Works who dedicated his life to serving Baltimore’s communities.

When: Saturday October 6th – buses will leave from Harbor Hall Café at 7:15am and return at 2:30pm.
