ATTENTION STUDENTS
Participate in the Spring 2008 UMBC Entrepreneur Internship Program

This internship program is designed to provide graduate and undergraduate student with a first-hand learning experience in entrepreneurship. During 15 weeks this spring, students intern approximately 12 hours per week for a total of 180 hours in start-up or emerging organizations. Students are exposed to the challenges and rewards associated with entrepreneurship, as well as gaining experience in their major.
Benefits Include:
- Earn possible credit and stipend of $2,500 for the semester ($13.88 per hour).
- Build a strong resume and gain valuable contacts.
- Apply lessons learned from workplace to academic coursework or vice versa.
Open to ALL majors.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Have completed a minimum of 30 credits with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Possess an interest in entrepreneurship.
Have taken or plan to enroll in an entrepreneurship course or club such as ENES 200–Introduction to Entrepreneurship, ECAD 210–Practice of Management (taught by Vivian Armor), IS 498N–Special Topics in IS: Entrepreneurship for IT, E-vision, or UMBC's CEO Club.
