Software Engineer Intern for Intelligence/ National Security Industry

Booz Allen Hamilton has exciting Software Engineering opportunities supporting clients in the Intelligence/ National Security industry and has challenging internships (Summer 2008) for undergraduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering majors.
Internships begin: June 2008

Positions are PAID and are located in Annapolis, MD

Qualifications
--Currently pursuing a BS degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Expected date of graduation must be December 2008 – May 2009
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to obtain a United States Security clearance

As a Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply new skills on diverse projects, including:
• Enterprise software development: develop scalable, service-oriented software (e.g. web services) for deployment in world-wide networks
• Object-oriented software development in Java, C++ and C#
• Embedded software development in C and Assembler, e.g. for wireless communications
• Operating system (kernel) research and prototype development
• Computer and network security: R&D related to security vulnerabilities in applications and operating systems
• Database development: design, implement and maintain some of the largest databases in the world
• Systems integration: integrate commercial products and custom software solutions
