United Way of Central Maryland seeks an undergraduate student interested in being exposed to several aspects of macro level community social/human services work. Placement has flexible hours and the student will primarily work out of the United Way of Central Maryland's (UWCM) downtown office. The Impact Strategies Division (ISD) works within the United Way of Central Maryland to ensure our resources and focus make an impact in four distinct areas: 1) Basic Needs (focus on affordable housing); 2) Family Safety; 3) Youth Achieving Potential; and 4) School Readiness. This internship will expose the student to learn about all four impact areas. The individual should have a strong interest in research and evaluation. The individual will conduct research and collect information on data related to our areas of focus.
