The Shriver Center is making it even easier for you to get started with walk-in hours January 27th to Janurary 29th!
Internships are important to obtain admission to graduate school and to find a position after graduation. You gain experience and are almost certainly eligible to earn upper level credit by interning 8 to 10 hours per week.
Once you meet with a coordinator, The Shriver Center will send your resume to organizations that interest you. In other words, we'll do the mailing and employer outreach on your behalf.
To get started stop by the Shriver Center ANY TIME between 9:00am and 4:00pm on Tuesday, January 27th to Thursday, January 29th for the Spring 2009 Kick Off. Simply bring an electronic copy of your resume on a USB drive or CD and we'll get you set up on UMBCworks and ready to look for positions THAT DAY!
