Is your schedule now settled down a bit for the semester? Do you have a 3-5 hours block of time each week based on your convenience that you would like to dedicate to helping others in the Baltimore area? Would you like the chance to efficiently and effectively choose how to spend this extra time?
If yes, then come check out the Inaugural Service-Learning Fair this Friday, February 6th from 11:30am-1:30 pm in UC 312. Over 30 community partners from various non-profits, youth centers, and schools are eager to recruit you and your talents to affect positive change for their constituents. Stop by for this unique opportunity to make the best decision for how you can help others. Enjoy some light refreshments, free coffee from Starbucks, and a chance to meet some animals in need of adoption from the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS) in Baltimore City.
No need to RSVP! On site registrations available! For any questions, contact Clare Greene at clare6@umbc.edu or at The Shriver Center at (410) 455-2493.
