Volunteer Intern Needed for Pro Bono Counseling Project
The Medical Assistance Field Representative would help members of the Community apply for Medical Assistance benefits at the local Department of Social Services. This would require the field representative to understand the basic eligibility requirements through the Medical Assistance Program. The field representative will work with their clients and the Department of Social Services Caseworker in obtaining the necessary documentation to establish Medical Assistance eligibility. The field representative will also assist their client in obtaining verifications from third parties such as living arrangement forms, social security cards, and verification of income.
