Position Description:
•Delivers first-level IT HelpDesk technical support for users, networks, and related systems
•Performs technical troubleshooting to diagnose and fix common computer problems
•Assists engineers with upgrades to hardware and software components as required
•Establishes user accounts, configures workstations and associated networks
•Troubleshoots problems with Windows PC’s and clinical biomedical equipment
•Maintains detailed biomedical device/supplies inventory, performs preventive maintenance
Special Skills/Courses:
Some college preferred; two-three years experience with Microsoft
Windows operating systems (Server 2003, XP) and Microsoft Office 2003/7 is required;
working knowledge of Active Directory and Cisco routers and switches a plus.
