PAID Marketing Intern Needed ASAP to work at the UMBC Tech Center for Amethyst Technologies
$1500 Stipend for 150 hours (which equals $10 per hour)
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for performing routine marketing duties to assist in the process of marketing Amethyst Technologies.
• Register company as small business with government and commercial clients
• Develop a database of potential clients
• Research and review promotional strategies of national organizations and make recommendations.
• Assist in generating new customer leads by searching procurement databases.
• Develop individualized marketing plan to create new market niche for company.
• Draft press releases for company achievements
• Identify community service opportunities
• Assist with miscellaneous special projects
Qualifications:
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior undergraduate student
• Excellent computer skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills
• U.S. Citizen
