Summer Research Opportunities at the National Institutes of Health - Info Sessions on Monday, 10/19

Are you interested in working in one of the country's premier organizations for scientific research?

The National Institutes of Health offers undergraduate students outstanding opportunities to participate in research through their summer internship program. The Summer Internship Program is designed to provide student like you with an opportunity to spend a summer working side-by-side with some of the most talented scientists in the world in an environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research.

UMBC is hosting two opportunities to meet with Ms. Debbie Cohen, Director, Postbac and Summer Program Services, from the National Institutes of Health on Monday, October 19th to discuss these opportunities.

From 12-1 in Commons 331, come to the Lunch & Learn: Federal Sector panel where you will hear about general internship opportunities in the Federal Government from Ms. Cohen and panelists from other organizations like the Social Security Administration, US Treasury and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

From 2-3 in Commons 331, there will be an Information Session exclusively on opportunities at NIH including tips on how to apply.
