This Thursday on the Commons Main street there will a be a Relay for Life Kick-Off featuring cool entertainment from UMBC own Amber Spry, free PIZZA and GIVEAWAYS!
The kick-Off will start at 11am and will last till 2pm December 3rd.
Relay for Life is a non-profit community/university organization that raises money for those suffering from cancer and also to promote awareness of the disease. This will be UMBC's FIRST EVER Kick-Off event to promote the actual Relay event that will take place in the spring.
Learn more about relay and even have the opportunity to start your own team. Our goal for this year is 30 teams and $30,000. Join the cause and help us to surpass our goals for this year. It would be a shame if we didn't. So, show some initiative and sign-up! The all-night event will take place April 23rd.
