Benjamin Banneker Historical Park & Museum seeks PAID Park Naturalist Intern in Catonsville

Under the direction of the Park & Museum Supervisor, the Naturalist is responsible for the coordination and development of a wide variety of natural history & environmental conservation activities & programs throughout the year, for the Banneker Historical Park & Museum, and the southewest area of Baltimore County.

Duties include:
Planning and delivering interpretive programs in: environmental education, wildlife conservation, land & aquatic nurseries for threatened & endangered plants, plant/wildlife/stream surveys, native & historical plant gardens, nature trail development & tours, and nature crafts. Naturalist will also coordinate and lead volunteers in various environmental projects, assist in the documentation, survey, and inventory of the Park's natural resources. Must also assist with nature program exhibits, publicity & promotion, prepare weekly schedule, mileage and work reports.
