Summer 2011 Internships with General Electric

General Electric is seeking interns for Summer 2011 in both their Edison Engineering Development Program and their Information Management Leadership Program. Both programs provide outstanding opportunities for professional development and may lead to full time positions.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (in a 4.0 scale)
- High self-confidence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
- Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering areas.
- Proven Leadership skills and experience.
- Strong Initiative and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks
- Must be willing to relocate
- Must be a full time student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electric, Computer or Computer Science Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
- Must have Unrestricted Authorization to work in the US
