Nana Projects Internship Positions


These are unpaid positions, as Nana Projects is a small organization that could use all of the help they can get. Hours expected are 8-12 per week during the school year, 15 hours per week during the summer. Occasional programming happens during weeknights and weekends.

Graphics & Web Assistant
This position assists with graphic preparation for artistic projects and updates website.

Qualifications: Knowledge in MAC software (iweb, iphoto, idvd), Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS. Experience with laser-cutting and/or vinyl plotter helpful.

Studio Assistant
This is an assistant position for current projects and may include prepping materials in the studio, as technical crew for performances and light office work dependent on current productions. This position allows the most access to all the activities of the organization and is a good general introduction to the professional field of community arts and cultural performance.

Qualifications: Experience with basic power tools, sewing and good organizational skills a plus.

Workshop Assistant
Assists prepping for workshops and teaching workshops in a variety of Nana Projects techniques including: Magic Lantern Shows, Shadow Puppets & Lantern Parades.

Qualifications: Interest in working with children and adults in workshop settings.
Experience with basic power tools and good organizational skills a plus.
