US Geological Survey Internships Now Available!

Hydrolic Studies Intern
Intern projects/duties include: working in one or more of the hydrologic studies sections; intern would assist with collection and management of hydrologic data on ground water, surface water, and records management and quality assurance; intern could assist senior scientists and technicians with field work including the taking of water level and flow measurements and water-quality sample collection; intern could also be involved in the process of summarizing and plotting selected data for publication and preparation, management, and interpretation of geographic information system data and products.

USGS Intern
Intern projects/duties include: working in the hydrologic networks program; intern would assist with hydrologic records management and quality assurance; assist senior hydrographers with field work including the taking of water level and flow measurements and construction of field installations; intern could also be involved in the process of summarizing and plotting selected data for publication.
