The financial consultant intern will be responsible for providing marketing, sales, administrative and operations support to a expanding financial planning practice.
Marketing efforts will include assisting in event planning and implementing a client dinner seminar as well as coordinating education classes for Certified Public Accounts (CPA). Marketing efforts will also include adding client profile information to our client database.
Sales efforts include making business 401k calls to prospects located in the Howard County, Anne Arundel County and Baltimore areas. In addition to calling prospects, the intern will occasionally call existing clients with new ideas on Smith Barney products and services.
Finally, operational support will include researching financial materials that will be used for e-mail distributions, training clients on how to use Smith Barney Assess, our online service, and assisting in analyzing this information to increase the effectiveness of sales efforts and future marketing campaigns.
Technical, as well as sales training and coaching will be provided in each of these areas.
