Make a Difference - Be a Mentor for College Night

Make a difference in the lives of area youth and have fun while doing it! Join College Night as a student mentor. Mentoring through College Night is one component of the community-based Choice Program, based out of the Shriver Center. College Night is held on Mondays from 6-8:15 pm, and is recruiting volunteers who can make a semester-long commitment to mentoring. Contact Jynease Emerson at jynease1@umbc.edu or Kathleen Herwig at kherwig1@umbc.edu for more information.

Want an opportunity to reflect on your service with The Choice Program? Enroll in the Service-Leaning Practicum through the Shriver Center. Contact Clare Greene at clare6@umbc.edu or 410-455-2493. Enrollment in the Practicum for College Night student mentors is optional.
