JOB LOCATION: Downtown Baltimore (The Inner Harbor)
JOB SUMMARY: Legg Mason's Corporate Marketing team located in Baltimore, MD is seeking Interns.
Key responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
• Assist with writing and posting of content updates to websites
• Conduct online/offline analysis of key competitor positioning and marketing communications; output to include PowerPoint report for senior management
• Assist with a wide range of web-oriented projects including integration of slideshows and videos
• Provide weekly web metrics reporting (training to be provided on use of web metrics tools)
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external web mailboxes (with guidance)
• Assist in creation of database of clients and prospect who complete “Contact Us” form
• Conduct ad hoc web searches and analyses on competitor and non-fiserv websites on such topics as Thought Leadership, Web 2.0 applications, Sustainability, etc.
• Strong interest in marketing and financial services

• A strong interest in and knowledge of Web 2.0 capabilities

Ideal candidates will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree concentrating on Marketing, Business Technology Administration, or related discipline. Student must have proficiency in MS Word and Excel, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and an inquisitive nature. Interns must be able to commute to our downtown Baltimore location, and a time commitment of 15 hours per week is expected for spring interns or 40 hours for summer interns. EOE.
