The Library will offer additional extended hours at exam time at the request of students. Hours for May 4 through May 19 are as follows:
° Sundays - Thursdays: until 2 a.m.
° Fridays and Saturdays: until 10 p.m.
Note that only Circulation and Reserves services will be available after midnight, and after 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Library management would like to thank the Circulation staff and student assistants who have volunteered to take these late night hours, the student government leaders for their advocacy and the President and the Provost for their support. The success of this extended hours experiment will be evaluated over the summer. For further information, contact the Library Administrative Offices at aok@umbc.edu or ext. 5-2356.

Great! Wish this was the schedule throughout the year or at least allow 1st fl to be 24hrs since the lobby is simply not enough space. Reference and Circulation wouldn't have to be open, and student workers could take those shifts to avoid overtime for librarians...just a thought..
